Founding Story and Vision
How Revo was created
After spending years in the investment industry in the United States, co-founders Andrew Lee and Randy Lim noticed a tailwind behind manufacturing firms moving into Southeast Asia. However, the workers development and support in the region has been noticeably lacking and transparency is not there. It was an apparent problem.
The duo started Revo to make a change for people in the region by empowering companies to hire based on the matched characteristics - so anyone can work seamless together and create a long term relationship.
At Revo, we have always been our first customer, which helps us to understand the pain point of hiring and employment hiring, especially in the manufacturing industry. We understand the barriers that hinder semi and skilled workers from finding consistent work and companies from hiring quality workers efficiently. We firmly believe that there’s a better way to connect these workers and companies. Now, Revo aims to simplify hiring by empowering each party within the manufacturing ecosystem. That is why Revo exists.
Randy Lim
Co-Founder
Randy brings with him more than ten years of investment expertise across diverse capital structures. His recent role at AS Birch Grove saw him as a sector head, overseeing a portion of the firm's total AUM exceeding US$8B, covering business and technology services. Moreover, Randy brings valuable experience from working in secondary private equity firms and family offices.
Andrew Lee
Co-Founder
Andrew played a pivotal role in launching a Southeast Asia-focused venture capital fund with a US-based firm, Translink Capital, and a local partner, amassing a fund size of over US$60M. Since the fund's initiation, Andrew has successfully invested in over 15 companies in the region as well as in the United States, achieving a cumulative valuation surpassing US$1B.
